So I just got my Save The Date Postcard from my baby sister in the mail, today. I am not really sure when she mailed them.. but I just got them. I'm also really bad about checking my mail. And constantly missing mail. That's a whole other subject though.
I already showed you all a preview of what the designed looked like on a previous post in my blog. Now to show you the turned out product.
Quality of VistaPrint
Overall I would say that the quality is really amazing. The photos came out just as I had set the settings too. The artwork and calendar also came out in clear, sharp bold colors. I would say from the design to print they did AMAZING. Like it looks exactly how I intended for it to look.
The postcard was slightly damaged in the mailing process. You can see on the front where it looks like there was a little bit of smudging in the clouds. Though not VistaPrint's fault necessarily I would have liked to have seen an option to ensure that the postcard would be waterproof though in fairness I never checked with them about this in advance. Also in fairness I don't know what the invitations looked like prior to them being mailed.
My general opinion here though is that the quality was amazing. We opted for the higher quality 130 lb. Premium Glossy paper. It cost a bit more but I think it is worth it times a million.
My score: 9.5/10
Time Frame from Order to Delivery
My sister and I ordered these on September 29th. She chose the longest delivery option because it was the cheapest and we didn't need them rushed or anything like that. She got the invitations at her address on October 8th. 7 Business Days later. Which was a day earlier than their promised delivery date. Their options are "Express 3 Business Days", "Standard 5 Business Days" and "Economy 8 Business Days"
My score: 10/10
I love VistaPrint mostly just because they are very economical for mailing out materials at a good quality with a decent price. Even when their items are not on sale (which honestly I rarely see) they are not a bad price. You can get 100 postcards for under $30 not on sale.
But VistaPrint offers a ton of specials check them out on their webpage.
My Score: 10/10
I would so definitely recommend Vistaprints. I'm not sure if we're going the DIY route for the invitations and printing them at home or if we are going through with Vistaprints and then adding stuff to them or what we're doing yet. We're talking about it now. Once the decision has been made and the invitations have been sent I will update everyone with how they turned out.
