How to assemble your wedding invitations
Seems like a pretty easy task, right? Well not always. It completely depends on what all you're putting into your invitations and how much you care for rules but we are going to break down the most common ways to stuff those wedding envelopes and save yourself some aggravation in the process.
Step 1: Prep your Envelopes
Step 2: Arrange in piles the order your invitations will go into the envelope.
The arrangement should go from bottom to top:
Step 3: Begin Assembling Your Invitations
Start from the invitation and move down the line. You can set up a system where you and your fiance are on opposite sides of the table to help make this process quicker.
Once the Invitation, RSVP Envelope, RSVP Card and Enclosure Cards are all arranged, now add your belly band or accessories.
Step 4: Place the invitation in the envelope and seal it.
If your envelopes are not the peal and stick kind, consider getting an envelope moistener, sold at any office supply store.
Step 5: Add Postage, Return address and Guest's Names.
Add postage (if known before taking to the post office) and Return Address Labels to your Invitation Envelopes and finally address each envelope.
