So today I realized while reading through the Etsy Teams forums for digital designers that not everyone knows how to unzip files. I have taken this for granted with many of my designs because they are simply too big to put up on Etsy without compressing the file to make it smaller without skimping on the quality of my work. I assumed that since I knew how to do this everyone did as well. So today I am going to teach you, step by step, how to unzip a file that you may have downloaded from my Etsy Shop.
Today’s lesson will cover how to unzip a file using Microsoft Windows as your operating system. I will put another How To for a Mac as the steps are very similar but some of the words and steps may be a little different.
Pocket fold wedding invitations are all the rage right now but they're kind of expensive. For brides looking for a budget friendly invitation while still wanting the pocket fold invitation look this DIY How To is just for you. This project takes a little bit of time and patience but is pretty easy to complete.
You will need a few items to get started. Some of them will obviously be required and some of them you can get by without.
For customer’s wanting to make sure that each color is matched perfectly from their invitations to their dresses and flowers, Word will allow you to do this in two very easy steps. All that you need is to know the RBG color of the color you want to match.
Below are the two quick steps to matching your colors!
1. In Word 2010 click on the arrow next to the “A” as shown below and select “More Colors”
2. Select “Custom” and enter in your RBG colors then select Okay.
That’s all that you have to do. Once you’ve completed this step it will show the Custom Color below the “Standard Colors” as recently used so you won’t have to complete this step for each coordinating piece.
I hope this helps you as you create your wedding invitations.
